Well, studied by butt of these past few weeks. Makeup exam is friday at 11am. I should pass this time...I had better pass. Or I might as well find a bridge...

As luck would have it, the testing center was experiencing technical difficulties. I waited 1.5 hrs to see if they could get it working, but no go. Rescheduled for next Friday.

It's not only the testing facility, it's also the training facility. If they cant fix it, I certainly couldn't. They think they narrowed it down to a switch gone bad. The left for lunch to pick a few up but I left in the mean time.

793 isn't a huge gap between pass and fail, bit I will take it. The instructor left while I was in the test room to fly somewhere and wont be back for a week, so I didn't get to schedule my last class. SO ....I get to play till then.

Well, here it is. The last class. I can't believe this took over a year to do. With failed tests and waiting for classes, this had dragged out since May of last year. So, here it is. 2830... designing security for MS networks. It's relatively short, just 3 days. Hope to knock the test out at the end of the month. Will see how that goes then, but for now...time to learn some new stuff.

Wife wont know what to do with herself with me gone all day (not that we do alot together these days anyway.)

Well, here it is. The last day of class. I'ts bittersweet actually. Feels like a job is ending. These are the only people I get to interact with outside of the house. I may only see them one more time when I go take the test. Will be like moving away from firends all over again. It's been a long and rather difficult journey. But this is just half the battle for me at the moment.

To this, there will be only a few more entries in the journal of mine as I have shared just about every step of it with you. I will post again day of my exam...and with me having to pay for this one myself, who knows when that will be.
