I dont want to get into "this or that" with the changes. I'm glad I got to level up without 1-40 bonus and glad to have maxed out before these changes were made.
What I will miss is when trying to run away from a mob of skarj with 40 health and being able to zap them with out have to stop and turn around (I can do this with my WM thanks to regen/vamp). or being on a map with a gas bag way up high and not having a snipe weapon to get at it (I can do this with my WM thanks to loaded weapons).
I havn't played my AM with the changes yet, but I will report my findings as they come.

Thanks for clearing up why the double was included in it. Didnt realize that both double and tripple utilized the same uDamage tag but I should of known since technially the triple does have a timer of 999,999 seconds on it with the same design. (Heh I actually had one of the far right 9's turn into an 8 after about 2 minutes and if you look closely the farthest number that's cut off changes every 10s)
Me personally, I really would kind of see the AM's change into a more support role if we were given more artifacts to do it and xp rates to make it worthwile. I had posted a while ago with some possible new artifacts and changes to current ones to make them useful for team use with mainly revolving around we get xp based on the damage that the person in question does when under one of our effects. Say the way a person using the link gun links up with another person to boost their damage in allow the person that is linking with the person to gain xp from thier damage.
Like give us artifacts that acts like a lesser beserk (like how remote damage is) and a sphere the same way. Also an artifact that acts like a suped up booster combo for self. The ratio of Adrenaline to Health can stay the same as booster but a a quicker rate with the ability to turn it on and off to grant us some survivability. Anyway thats my 2 cents.
BTW loving the change to defensive sentinal Szlat.

I'll have a look and see. However the Engineer one is global whereas the AM one is per artifact.

In the old days we would use the globe and turn around. Or hide your trans somewhere. You spent long enough playing without bolt - you know the options better than I do. But to be honest, it is those sorts of things I added bolt for. Shame it got mis-used.

You can still hit it with the beam. Just not twice in 3 secs or with the triple/DD.

I would appreciate your feedback. Sure the beam and particularly the bolt are weaker, so you will not find it as easy as recently. But the AM still has a very powerful arsenal.

It seemed around that amount. I dont have an exact number as I usually dont pay much attention to my xp meter during waves . But during the later waves when its usually better to camp (and titan ones), it was returning a noticible xp gain of like 15-30 points depending at what was all shot at it. I think during one of the titan waves I got a good deal cause a lot of the rocks splintered into many smaller fragments and the sent was cleaning them up pretty good with a 1xp increase happening after a little bit. The rate of return seems fine to me and def see it maybe getting some use now by the higher levels.
I still see beam being used alright as I've usually always used beam before on titan waves when theres a titan right in front of me that i'm firing at and its about to throw a rock at me. Bolt on the other hand prob I wont touch again since it burns wayy to much adrenaline for the shot by itself on any monster. Rod is more effective then it if you give it a few seconds.
Warlord Example 500 life
Rod = Cost 75-85 total Adrenaline but takes 10 seconds {(500*15%)+1/sec}
Bolt = Cost 167 total Adrenaline to kill {500/3}
Beam = Cost 83 total Adrenaline to kill *needs to be aimed {500/6}
Titan Example 1200 life
Rod = Cost 180-190 total Adrenaline but takes 10 seconds {(1200*15%)+1/sec}
Bolt = Cost 400 total Adrenaline to kill {1200/3}
Beam = Cost 200 total Adrenaline to kill *needs to be aimed {1200/6}

Szlat,
Thank you for all of your efforts expended on trying to balance classes. However, no matter what you do or don't do, some players were going to be upset one way or the other. I, for one, am grateful that you are trying to please as many players as possible and within the restrictions imposed.

Szlat; right now i just read your post about why the changes, so far im standing on my feet, you deserved.. i mean you put a lot of effort (looks now one sees it.. or maybe they see it, but they dont recall) in this, and trust me when i say.. you didnt destroy AM class, instead you let other people, MW Engis and medics some monsters to frag..
and yes i really think triple and rod/bolt/beam where too much.. maybe draco is right dd rod/beam/bolt is right, but who know?

Isn't there a distance nerf on the beam or am i wrong?

ok first game with new settings. I played kinda old school, flak and rod. Rod plus double on some crazy parts.
Here is the top 4 spots

Seems to me that doubling the score of a WM that is 1/3 your level is reasonable. But fighting for a top 3 spot against a Lvl 44 Engineer might seems disproportionate to some. (no offense Dragon you played really well and gave lots of team support.)
BTW, didn't miss much with the new changes, bolt didn't fire once for me but i managed to live. I did use the rod a bit more then i have been, but I think that this also helps team play, by knocking down the monster for other to kill with less shots. I also found myself ghosting more than usual. Think i died at least 2 or 3 times.

Heh I pretty much play Bonzai Eng all the time unless someone around me doesnt have shields then ill boost them. Sure I die sometimes due to my low level but I have a blast alt-linking the monsters. Heh I gotta learn sometimes that sure it may say M O N S T E R K I L L, does not mean you should get greedy for more .
Other times I'll just take a break and link boost another linker for a bit (usually my brother when hes on his engineer (skyliner)). Me and him pretty much found out that if you stick two engineers together like glue and have one boost the other (mainly titan waves) both profit from it .
Thanks for the props though. Have been playing for like 4 years now just wasnt as much on the dc server as my own till the engineer class came out.
I havent played on my AM all that much lately cause its not really his weeks, these last few have been mainly my engineer and medic's turns but I've played a little since the change. I'm fine with the changes and all and like you said, I've gone back to what I was using before I started bolt/trip which was using the rod more often.

Nope. Still 3000 units as it has been since introduced in version 205. Would look like 60 meters, or 200 foot.
Bolt is shorter at 2000 units, but again unchanged from version 205.
