Map voting

We sure do have a lotta maps on the server, I was wondering if there is anyway you can actually find a specific map, short of sifting through the entire list? Or is this something that would need an additional mod? Or is it just not possible?

what i do is when i see a map i like, i just go to there map list (on the homepage) and do a CNTL-F and type in part of the map name to see if there are any matches. if there is none, then up goes my suggestion for a new map.

Was talking about actual in-game map voting.

There is a drop down tab on the map vote page that has all the different game types, DM, CTF,INV etc. . If you know what type of game your map was designed for you can just select that game type from the drop down window and the map list will automatically scroll to that section of the map list. usually its pretty easy to tell what game type a specific map is for, if you see goals(the big circle portals one for blue one for red that kill you when you jump through them) its bombing run, if you see vehicles or vehicle spawn points its vehicle invasion, if you see control points its onslaught, if you see flags well duh, and if you see nothing its deathmatch. If you know the map you want to vote for then this should be a pretty simple guide that will help you decide which game type to select from the drop down tab(in game voting).

i usually just click on sequence to find out what map has just opened up for play, which are maps that are most popular.

but i know what you mean now. someone should make a mod that adds a tab that shows your "favorite" maps.
