Ok, So I killed 2 people with my deemer already today.
I use my alt fire and both times I didn't see anybody near.
Yet I still killed them. Is it the blast that killed them? Or is it because they were low health? Because I didn't hit anybody directly.
Does anyone know the answer. I love using the deemer, it's so much fun. But i'm gonna quit using it if i keep killin people.
I apologize to people Ive killed in the past. Today was GI-Joe and Aqualung. *gulp*
Please respond.... but be gentle..... I already feel bad

Its ok we all make mistakes and some of us are mistakes lol
It was not so much dieing but losing really good weapons
I had passed out lots of copies of a flak +3 energy and mini +5
the only one who gave me back a weapon on respawn was fodder
Thanks fodder

the redeemer only kills others if you die from the blast if it goes off near you. for some reason, the redeemer harms anything once the shooter dies. otherwise it won't harm anyone else, unless the force itself knocks them into the pit

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

yes, accidents do happen, i agree with that. i've killed a few also, especially in the low gravity maps, knocking people off. some are nice and understanding, but some are rude...usually people i haven't seen before. sometimes people jump in front right when you shoot. either from lag, or just running by, transing, or being jumped around by titans. that has happened to me a lot...show of hands who have killed someone accidently by deemer...*raises hand*

hehe Just before we joined up with the bel clan I nuked the clan leader (Spacey) by accident.
He was standing way up high and I said... Just stand right there E... as I intended to fly by him... instead... Kaboom.
For some maps, it's just par for the course. Sometimes you can help it, sometimes you cant. <Shrug>

you're welcome, deunan :}
yesterday was my first time killing myself and a few others with the redeemer after all this time. i hit the "ceiling" of sky in gothic2004, thinking i could manually curve it back down after shooting it up, trying what i thought was a good way to make sure nothing or noone would be hit, and then byebye me and 3 others...i felt so bad about it :{

Accidents happen ALOT when I have the deemer, or the especially the Ion Painter. Sometimes the supers will bounce people off the walls and that will do it, sometimes if you take enough damage from the blast it will kill others. Personally I think its random. The more you use it the more you will kill others. It cannot be stoppe, it cannot be controlled, it cannot be reasoned with...

Most of the time I forget about the nuke or painter - just doesn't fit my style of play as I hardly every go somewhere safe that I can shoot... or in open maps I'll just fire it but not try to guide it.
I *think* that if you take any damage from it, anyone in the blast area will be damaged as well - and it may kill them depending on their health. Buth meh, I've done it too - I apologize profusely and then get on with the next wave

Probably not a bad idea, here I am killing 3 more people today.. I fired off my deemer right as a Titans Rock was coming at me. It was too late. I thought i would get a "Denied" message, instead, much to my suprise, it killed us all.....bleh...I need to quit the deemer and maybe try to be an adrenal junkie..

I have by far the worst luck with deemers out of anyone on the server. Bugs spawning in front of it, warlord pets strafing into one and then laughing at my corpse, titans bouncing me into a wall, the ledge I shoot off of magically growing another limb and clipping the deemer, I get it all. It's gotten to the point where I'm totally paranoid of having one, and on top of that I'm a junkie too. Most of the time I turn on the globe before using it, and only when I'm horribly outnumbered. Even then, I aim it directly at the ground because anywhere else will get me a denial or worse. Deemers are usually a last resort option for me; if you have a bunch of good guns you don't really need it.
