The gun, that is. Ahem.

Hello. I've finally found this place, via virtue of learning to spell disastrous correctly. It took me approximately 2 weeks.

I haven't been playing with you guys long, but I expect that will change over time, and I wanted to say hello.

I live in fly-over country, Indianapolis to be exact. Nothing special, but not a bad place to live if you don't mind cold weather and country music lovers.

I've been gaming in general for about 2 decades now, I'd guess, starting on an Atari 2600. I found you guys via some people from www.ArsTechnica.com who recommended your server as a good place to play Invasion with RPG, and I have to say, they weren't kidding.

It's been a pleasure to play with all of you, and I hope that continues.

Hello, and welcome to you! (at zombo com)

P.S. Dru had a hard time spelling it too. It took us about as long to register the domain because he had to make sure he spelled it right.

I'm wondering what it will take for my country to rise,

Welcome! And like you, I cannot spell it well.

BTW...what part of Indy?? I have countless friends and family over there, and used to get to Indy about once a month when I was living in Ft. Wayne.

Gotta love that english language... disaster = disastrous who would have thought.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Northwest side, inside the loop. I was born in Florida, but have lived here almost the entirety of my life. My wife has family in Chicago, so we travel up there often, and she's got friends in Ft. Wayne, so we get up there once or twice a year.

I actually live close enought to hear the track noise, but not close enough for it to be a good thing.

Where abouts are you now, Spacey?

Neat! I have a friend who last I knew worked at IDEM in the IT department. He lived in Speedway itself. Of course, I have an even better idea than most what traffic is like on that weekend. Got to see a bit of the race from center field the race after Dessert Storm...flew in on a UH1 Hewy as a part of a DMAT (search the web for that term!) and few back out again about 2 hours later as a part of the staff rotation. I was a Hazmat and communications specialist for the team.

As for where we live now...west side of Columbus OH, about 2 miles east of Broad and 270 or two miles west of Broad & 70.
