Ideas for new mall-themed map

NICE!!

Had a vote for something in the lines of this....

Gotta have a mattress store in the mall. sorry, another biggie..

@Flak Current plan is to have it set on Earth with a parking lot and some buildings in view from the entrances, I might be able to work in a couple of the big non-mall stores that way. I can get some nice lighting effects from skylights if it's set during the day. But I suppose putting it on an asteroid and using the face classic skybox might work.

Anyway, I've been working on the map a little every day, I've posted a few random screenshots on my xfire profile, but most of it is still too rough-looking to show here. I'll post more when I'm ready.

the way that was worded and my misreading it got me thinking of a funny way to make it. maybe have it night time and in the sky, have some alien ships raining fire down while ground based anti orbital guns shoot up at it. could make for an interesting view and an explanation as to why the mall is deserted. maybe have some damage where one corner of the mall got demolished by an orbital strike

That could work, but I've already got the "Liandri bought this place for no apparent reason" thing going on.

I know, that rendition still exists. Just changed the word for a different idea is all. Still may do a 3rd one as well and we shall see what get's used. This just keeps be busy till school starts again. I'm so board all the time otherwise.

Jefe, you could have a sentinel randomly shooting up in the air outside a window or something like that (or a few just shooting in the same direction, just different direction of each other....a thought.) I'll do the warfare banner as well and let you decide which one to use.

earth as a location is fine. Would be best to relate to it in that way.

From Sector 7 Mall, with all the silliness in it, going to name it Section 8 Mall.

May use the poster from Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy with that one.
