HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ME 
Since Dell/Alienware could not repair the Area 51 ALX properly, I'm sending it back for a full refund--after hours of phone calls and online analysis along with 2 in-home service calls and replacement of two I/O boards and a motherboard, it was still not working properly. I had to go to BBB to get action on the computer and the executive customer support V/P offered a like exchange but would not guarantee that the replacement would work properly straight out of the box. Said nope-no guarantee, no replacement--give me my money back.
So the Aurora ALX is back in use again. Sigh........no 980X (what a fun ride with that processor tho)

Alienware still has a good draw but the customer service/return part lacks big time.

I skipped all that fat and got to the bone at the end. I'm happy that a newer gen proc does well against the past gen...means they did something right.
Who knows what gen it will be by the time I get around to building my new rig.

I built mine 7 years ago and it still rocks with todays PC's..
If you run this processor do not install the final service pack because it will not recognise the Dual process and you computer will turn into a
TSR-80.
