Left 4 Dead

Hello guys, it's been a verrry long time since I posted here last. I see the community doesn't seem to be as active as it once used to

UT2k4 is outdated and has been played to death, more or less, and UT07 really wasn't that popular at all. However there is an upcoming co-op game being developed by a studio that was bought by Valve Software that looks promising. The game is called Left 4 Dead. It's a post apocalyptic zombie survival co-op game. I don't think it's very far off in the vein that Invasion is, in that you have to survive with your friends against a horde of monsters.

I just wanted to say that I will be trying to buy this game as soon as it comes out (November), and that if anyone else is picking up this game, feel free to add me to your Steam friends list, and maybe we can get a steam group going for the DC community if there's enough interest. I really miss the fun I had when I played here- it was fun to kill monsters for hours while just chatting over voice comms about anything and everything. DC had a very diverse community, and the majority of people were very mature, which is pretty rare in the Internet Age.

Good to see ya. However, for me anyway, until Valve gets rid of the Steam BS, I will not buy another one of their products so I guess that I won't be able to play.

Steam was once a bloated piece of crap, but it has come a very very far way since it was first released, and now is a really cool system.

Left4Dead is a really great game that any invasion player would love. If you're at all interested in getting it and haven't yet, nows the time.

Looks like a cool game. And the 50% off is just in time for Valentines Day.

I've played under the name DCFodderFigure so long I decided to use it once again.

I've got Llachior and emetaklezetheelder on my friends list. I probably should play a campain before joining in though.

I wanted to pick it up (can't pass up a zombie movie or game) but didn't know how the whole Steam thing would work as I don't like the whole p2p file sharing networks. Thoughts on that?

As far as I know, it's only available on disc.

Well i finally decided to pick up the game... tried adding each of your names you placed on here and either got invalid gamertag or not an xbox live gamertag....

Hmmm, I tried adding your name and I got a "Unable to find UntamedSub" I'll take a look on google to see why this might happen.
