Suggestion on First Blood to LW players

I alwasy thought it was for the adrenaline, not the XP. With my LW, it is a silly/fun award to get so you get in a race to try and get it... with my medic it is a matter of survival.

So, wouldn't it be good to start the medics (and other adren classes) at 10 adren? This would keep this award as a silly/fun thing to do and really help medics - simple solution on the surface (feel free to start another thread/poll on this as I don't want to deviate from the main topic).

I'll voice my opinion on this. I am a Level 69 Weapons Master. I know that some people will fire off the deemer for the first blood award. For me it's just the award of getting it. It's kinda fun when your rushing trying to find that first monster and try to get it, then bam! It's gone the second you get your flak within the sights of a monster. I've done this time and time again trying to get first blood, but not by trying to use my Redeemer. What's the point in that? I mean come on, common logic tells you that wasting a nuke in the first wave is kinda idiotic. No offense or disrespect to the weapons masters out there. But I honestly think that it's all about etiquette and how far you want to go just to try and get a reward. I know that some players out there will do whatever it takes to get say First Blood or something.

But I also see the point that it's nice for medics to get first blood so they can get that extra adrenaline they need. So we're kinda on an uneven playing field when you look at it. On one hand you got the junkies *Ahem* Adrenaline Masters who rely on artifacts and their various abilities to try and get first blood. Take Ratar for example, he could use the lightning rod and fry one of the mosquitos in a matter of seconds. Then you have the Weapons Masters *Laughs Maniacally.* We will just take out a weapon and aim and shoot at whatever we can try to hit. Not always does it work though. But then you have the Medics who have zero weapons, zero adrenaline, but to try and get their game going; they need to have at least 10 adrenaline and a decent weapon to get going.

Altogether each class plays an integral role in each other's survival. What I see though is Medics dont have the glorious lifestyle. I know they volunteer for what they do, but their serious underappreciated and have a tough enough time. Call me crazy, but Dru and Shan, maybe you guys could implement some kind of bonus adrenaline or starting adren for Medics so they have a shot at getting First Blood? I'm just putting it out there though. Whatever you guys implement, I'm sure it will work out. Hopefully.

Fodder and Monkey are right as well...I'm going to agree with both sides. Lets take the big competition out of it and just try not to be lamers and be more like gamers! Anyway...Cheers mate!
