I'm in for sure as Thursday night works for me. 9 MNT is 8 PST I believe. I may have to play some DM now to prepare for this haha.

I meant to check my work's firewall configuration today .. but forgot. It may be possible for me to configure a dedicated TDM server. Then I can set the "Players Must be Ready" flag to prevent low-ping first-joiners from getting an unfair headstart on kills/weapons.

Ok, let me get this right...

9pm Mountain time would be as follows:
8pm Pacific
10pm Central
11pm Eastern (Sorry Ratar, but your 2 hrs ahead of the mountain folk)

Appropriate attire (skins)
Should we all come out out of our "customs" and go to stock male/female human skins? On TDM, all members of your side will have a beacons over thier heads, the enemy will not, no matter what skins are used.

Besides, not everyone has everyone elses skin loaded, so some of y'all will be in a default skin to others, regardless. I think a human stock skin would be best so we dont see a bunch of clones running around on both sides, or maybe we should all pick the same skin for each side. who knows.

This will be a late night for me, I'm usually in bed by 7. I may feel like dirt the next day, but I'm in. Cant be any worse than this morning, was up at 3am and couldnt get back to sleep.

This has my vote for several reasons:
1. Facilitates trigger-happy players. They need only recognize one skin to shoot-kill-destroy!
2. Visually anonymizes all players. Until the hovering name is read, players won't know if they're fighting the cuddly ECHO or tenacious Fro13.
3. Eliminates the possibility of people using "cheap" skins, like the black stickman.

I don't know about using the same skin, but I think sticking to skins which came out of the box would be a very VERY good idea. However, I realize for some of you, that may be next to impossible to tell what is in a skin download, and what was a part of the original game. If desired, I can try to screencap the players I have on my machine, which should not include any add-on skins.

The more I think about this, the more I know Lisa (Spammy) would have been wanting to get a piece of this action, if her husband would have allowed her to be on.

But cannot let it get me down... she would frag my six for doing so.

I prefer custom skins because they're a little more entertaining over stock skins. I believe our ref/screen shot taker has all the DC skins installed, so it would at least show up in the photos.

OK--just went to "Viper's Den Dallas" on the team deathmatch catagory.

# of Players: 20
Max goal: 60
Max Spectators: 2
Maps: most all of the deathmatch maps on the internet, so lets chose a map or two that we do not normally play. This way, those who have been on the server for a while does not have the map memorized.

I placed the ady on my favorites list.

No weapons on spawn, no skills/addons, and everyone starts at zero for skills. Levels the playing field.

Now, to find me a skirt to fit over my fat belly...............

Well, we have a few days to iron out the details..
Red - Girls or boys? I was thinking of the usual, Red (girls) Blue (Boys) as most people associate it.

Still a dillema on skins yet it seems. Most skins have team colors, so I dont know if it will be a problem or not.

Oh, and the server...what will prevent others joining out in the world if the teams aren't full?
