I hate bath day...

There were 5 in all that got dunked, it was a bad day at the kitty corral let me tell ya, and tommarrow is looking worse, must give them all pills! I don't think I'll have any blood left after all of this. To make it up to them, they all get a little bite of steak tonight for letting me live....

Em, I can relate to the situation. My two young cats draw blood whenever we clip their claws ( at least once a week).

Aw poor kitties! Do they really get that dirty? I've never had to bathe any of my cats. Not to say that I have ever dared to try. I like my eyes where they are... in my sockets.

I can unfortunately relate to the 'joy' of bathing a cat...though the reason I had to was cus 2 of ours at the time had ring worm (which is really a fungus causing patches of lost hair.....why the name?)..
So yeeeah..that was...annoying...

And then there was last month where kittens got neutered and the like an the giving them medicine...>_>....

So yeeeeah...Good luck, Em....hopefully you dont loose too much blood..

Well, it's been about 2 years since the last dunk and it seemed about time. Noticed a flea or two last week on one of them and don't want an epidemic to start. (The eldest convinces me to give her walks outside every once in a while, so that may be where she picked them up, as she decided to lounge around a sandy pit next door.)

Yeh, I had only just read that, i had thought all of these years that it was a parasite, not a fungus. <shrugs> go figure.,

Nope...Fungus..... a friend of ours is a vet....
Actually..I got it myself from the cats at one point...(when we got one of them as a kitten she had it ALOT..)...
You get small patch of itchiness..and hair loss on that area ..(which is why its of dire importance not to scratch it then your head..o_o) anti-fungal cream (or shampoo..depends area/creature) does the job

Maybe they thought it was a worm...like beach worm?

Poor cats - too bad they don't like the water. I feel for you - when I was younger, we had a dog that didn't like bath time.

I'm alpha female and the cat knows it. She just helps run the house when I'm not around. My cat got into some oil once and my parents gave him a bath. We swear he was embarassed because he wouldn't go outside (He normally does) when we open the door.

In my house, I wear the pants, but both the cats and my wife tells me what to wear and how to put them on!!!!!!
