I hate bath day...

In regards to cats and water, here's a shot of Smokey with her preferred water source.

Heres one of mine in a water source...she sometimes doesnt move when you turn it on either..

Kimber (the one really angry about the devil hat) will only drink from the faucet too! If she can't get to the kitchen, she does something to the tub faucet and gets it to drip. LOL, haven't been able to catch her in the act yet.

My cats drink like that too. It's pretty much impossible to walk by a faucet without getting those big, sad eyes. The only places that are off limits are the kitchen and guest bathroom!

I'm alpha female and the cat knows it. She just helps run the house when I'm not around. My cat got into some oil once and my parents gave him a bath. We swear he was embarassed because he wouldn't go outside (He normally does) when we open the door.

Since it is getting closer to Xmas time, here is a picture of our ruler inspecting and approving of a decoration from last year.

Love the photos of the kitties. When my cat Muggy was young I had to bath her. She would come home very dirty at times we used to call her a Tomboy. Muggy was white as snow and she would come home with car grease and tree sap on her. She was not too bad to bathe as I did from when she was a kitten.

Ring worm is awful I caught it from a kitten many years ago. Last year my Feline AIDS cat Felix got ringworm when his body was shutting down, he had cancer. There was no missing fur on him but he had the fungus. Felix turned red, he was hot, his entire body was allergic to ringworm. Felix had a skin test to find out what was wrong. He had not come into contact with any other cats it was very strange. I managed to rid the fungus with the shots and pills. It was very upsetting as he was uncomfortable I was lucky to get it caught fast and under control.

There are 2 tests for ringworn
WOODS lamp (ultraviolet light)
skin test sent to lab

Wife has never bathed her cat, he does his own cleaning, we see the hairballs to prove it.

You know, aside from the ring worm times, I dont bathe ours...and they dont get hair balls even though they clean themselves...hmm..Maybe they cough it up outside? I dunno..But never seen a hair ball...o.0..Then again the longest hair cat we have is that one../\...the other 2 are short haired..
