I got some questions about the engineer class and some bugs:

1. I'd like a list over what you can summon with the different levels of loaded engineer and how much summoning points it costs to summon it.

2.Does sentinels heal with armor vampirism/ armor regeneration?

3. Every time i go into any summoned vehicle it says out of bounds.

4. Summoned vehicles seems to can drive through HitScan Volumes ( a volumes that blocks everything. )

It isn't finalised yet. We are still trying to sort out the balance, so things will be changing the points required, and at what level you can buy them. So I don't want to publish a list yet.

I haven't noticed this. They can't drive through walls. What specifically can they drive through?

On Monday, the cost of LoadedEngineer was increased by one point per level, so that could account for it - though that should have triggered as soon as you logged in? It would be easier to investigate if I knew the name of your engineer character?

My engineer is called Nicolas, and i just i know that there were changes monday, but i already got the stat point reducement of that at monday, i was playing today i had 7 stat points, then next map i had -2. it isnt possible that they changed the mod during gameplay and i was the only guy who lost stat points :S

Strange. You are level 28, so that gives you 27*7 = 189 points.
You have spent:

class = 1
AbilityLoadedEngineer 9 3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11 = 63
AbilityShieldHealing 2 10+15 = 25
AbilityWheeledVehicleStunts 1 = 5
AbilityConstructionHealthBonus 4 = 20
AbilityVehicleEject 1 = 5
DruidShieldRegen 3 = 12
DruidArmorRegen 1 = 15
Weapon Speed 0 = 0
Health Bonus 32 = 16
Max Adrenaline 100 = 0
Attack Bonus 50 = 50
Damage Reduction 0 = 0
AmmoMax 0 = 0
total = 212

So how have you managed to spend 212 points? It should say -23 not -2 points available - unless I have my sums wrong, which is always possible.

i should have 7 stat points, since i already once had -23 stat points (monday) so im pretty sure a bug accured

so u go -ve for the loaded engineer u bought i get that ...but wat of when u buy the shield regen (reduce in price so does it balance out?. .)

Another Q, I'm lvl 28 and I have lvl 12 loaded eng. Tho in the info, loaded eng says you needto be 4x the desired attrib level...which would mean I need to be lvl 48 to get lvl 12...or am I confusing something...?

Have you just bought lvl 12 or did you buy it before we put the change in?

Have you just bought lvl 12 or did you buy it before we put the change in? 


I had bought up to 14 before the change went in, then it kicked me to 12 after the change. However, half the stuff that shows in my artifact area to summon says I require a higher level to purchase (Turrets, multiple sentinels, etc...)

There are two considerations governing what you can spawn.

The first depends on what version of Loaded Engineer you have. The higher the level, the greater variety of things you can spawn. This generates the list of artifacts you have.

The second is what level your player is. As your level increases, you can summon more of things. This is configurable. You may not be able to summon any sentinels up to level 15, then only one sentinel until level 50, then two sentinels....etc.

So, just because it is in your list of artifacts doesn't mean you can summon it.

First, Szlat can you actually summon 2 sentinels at level 50 or is that a suggestion.

Secondly, Has anyone else noticed all the graphical bugs with engineers (i.e. Floating blocks, Sentinels shooting while closed, etc.)

I am not at 50, so I cannot confirm. How many you can summon at each level is configurable in the RPG.ini file, so it all depends on what Dru has put in there. I do not have direct access to the file, so cannot comment. 2 sentinels at lvl 50 was the recommendation, but it depends if Dru copied those lines across. So, we will have to wait until a lvl 50 engineer confirms, or Dru/Shantara tell us. (Perhaps 2 at 70 may be better anyway?) The recommendation also had one block available for each 4 levels up to level 40, but I was limited to one last time I was on - so I suspect it isn't configured.

There are some bugs with the blocks moving and getting their location wrong sometimes, so I will be looking into that. I haven't seen them floating yet - except where it was resting on another block which got destroyed. I am not too happy with blocks.
As far as sentinels go, they are standard UT Assault sentinels, so behave however they were coded. One thing I noticed early on was that they didn't rotate to point the correct way when firing, but I couldn't find a way of fixing it. I haven't noticed them firing when closed. It could be a similar problem to the rotating, or if it only happens in busy times it could be packet loss, so your client version of the sentinel didn't get the message to open.
My priority will be fixing bugs that affect gameplay, before any cosmetic anomalies.
