I also swore an oath to the twoplankers. I swore that that I'd never strap on another pair of nordic skis again.

My center of gravity is... not good. So I need two long thingys to balance myself. My butt can only take so much torture!

Yes after about 5 tries at the snowboarding I didnt think my poor bottom would ever be the same and the dislocated shoulder on my last try confirmed my suspicions that it was safer to watch.

On tv.

My dad drove bus at Vale when I was a kid. I learned to ski when I was 6 years old. We lived in Glendale. The family finally got tired of the snow and we moved to Alaska so we would not have to deal with the sudden freak storms.

That does not sound so hot, but my mother grew up here and we are generally guaranteed not to get as much snow as you! I swear I'm not making this up! Our ski resort only opened up on November 21st.

Last year I started to teach my son skiing. While I had not been on a slope in a while, it was worth taking him to see the look on his face when he found out that I knew how.
