Here are a few things I caught:

EE Version/
Extras/
TauntAnims/

All the above contain optional files. Should be removed from the archive.

Static Meshes/ contains YoshiGibs.usx This was an error in the skin pack. Should be in StaticMeshes (no space)

Remove
GOD_HORUS.upl
Homer.upl
Homer2003.upl

Entries for those characters are now in

aGawD_HORUS.upl
Cartoon-HomerSimpsonPack2009.upl

You're missing several of my skin packs too.

http://www.filefront.com/16547179/RaptorTraumaSkins-UT2k4.zip/
http://www.filefront.com/13736931/MML64-Model-Pack-v3.rar/

I haven't finished transferring everything yet so I can't check for other errors yet. Trooper do you have any characters that do not work? Like you get a ? instead of a portrait, or the character won't load?

EDIT: Ok, everything has downloaded and I've started debugging some of the non-working skins. According to my log file the following files are missing:

TyrantAnim.ukx
UrbanOphelia.utx
LiquidSkins.utx
Homer2003Anim.ukx (This is not needed though, since Homer2009 replaces this entry)
Homer2003Tex.utx (This is not needed though, since Homer2009 replaces this entry)
cBleodsian.utx
SPECIES_CalamityFA.u
SPECIES_Calamity.u
cCoyopas.utx

I'm attaching 2fixed upls. This one fixes the portrait entry for the L2 Witch.

thanks for input. think you could send me those missing files via some other message source and I can fix it?

I think clue's pictures dont come up when I use them but thats the only ones off the top of my head... I will keep and eye out. this is a good step though... keeping everyone on the correct version so people arent using multiple wrong versions

ok im going to explain this once and only once you make a file for all the text and system and so on and that file when opened with winrar can go in and copy all thats in there then paste into your files that SVN sucks for program downloading honestly im just trying to save anyone downloading it time

I don't have them, that's how I was able to discover they weren't included. The log file records which files are called for but missing (minus the files extensions, which I inferred.) Some of these are skins for custom models, and require that you have the original model installed. You need Tyrant by Hide, and to redownload Calamity (which also by Hide I think.) The others should also be solved by re-downloading and extracting the skin packs.

Also looking at the SVN directories, you need to move some files that you put in by mistake. The animation folder has all the Lineage 2 utx files, these need to be moved to /textures.

You shouldn't need the files SPECIES_CalamityFA.u and SPECIES_Calamity.u for the Calamity models to work because the online versions don't have then in their upl files.

True, and the regular Calamity model is loading. These files are showing up as missing in the log, so I mentioned them. I did overlook that CalamityFAAnim.ukx was also missing though, which is the Calamity Angel model and is the non-working one.

ChaosCyberneticNEW.Upl also needs to be removed since the textures are no longer included for it.

rose the problem with that whole idea is that when a new skin comes out, you gotta make a WHOLE new Zip for each folder for the addition of 1 skin that everyone has to download again, containing all files. svn will keep everyone on the most recent and working files while only needing to download a few files each time. what you are proposing is better done by downloading each skin individually, like is currently done, where things can be missed and such. this way, with jefe checking that I have all the files and feedback, once we get all the skins working for everyone, it will stay working for everyone. so it would save everyone's download time once... but after that it would make it longer by having to download all the skins they already have again, just to get the newest version of the pack

Jefe, only urban ophelia I could find is here: http://ut2004.levels4you.com/downloads.l4y?file=13191 and it still says the registration is down like before... they may be having more permanent issues. could you grab that one for me again? same with this: http://ut2004.levels4you.com/downloads.l4y?file=13374, and this: http://ut2004.levels4you.com/downloads.l4y?file=13747

This is great trooper, and version control for them is a good idea. Jefe's tip of editing the UT2004.ini is a good one.

Thanks for gathering these skins.

Alice and the Hatter: Quotes: Alice in Wonderland
Alice: What a funny watch! It tells the day of the month, and it doesn't tell what o'clock it is!
The Hatter: Why should it? Does your watch tell you what year it is?
Alice: Of course not, but that's because it stays the same year for such a long time together.
The Hatter: …which is just the case with mine.

HERE IS MY NEW SKIN ... please take time to download it

Another take on a Step by Step guide:

1. Get Subversion Client: Get an subversion client.

I'm not going to go into how to use each different client. Each client should have it's own documentation. I just use the normal command line client.

2. Get the skins with subversion client: Using your subversion client checkout the skins from the subversion repository:
https://dc-skin-pack.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/dc-skin-pack/

Example of how to checkout the with command line client (It will put it in your the current directory you are in, in a directory named dc-skin-pack):
svn co https://dc-skin-pack.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/dc-skin-pack/

3. Edit your UT2004.ini: Edit your UT2004.ini, put the following lines into the [Core.System] section. (Replace {BASE} with where you checkout the skins. You also might need to switch / with \ depending on your system. My system is Linux.):

Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/System/*.u
Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/Textures/*.utx
Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/Sounds/*.uax
Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/Animations/*.ukx
Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/KarmaData/*.ka
Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/StaticMeshes/*.usx
Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/Static Meshes/*.usx
Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/TauntAnims/*.psa

Backup your current .ini file before you edited it.
Thanks Jefe!

4. Play: Play Unreal now with all these cool skins.

5. Update your checkout: Later on you might want to update your copy of the skins. Tell subversion client to update the copy of the repository you have.

Example with commandline version
cd {BASE}
svn update

BAM updated updated skins in place ready to play.

Though I'm not sure if this is of any help as I assume probably the biggest hurdle is to figure out how to use subversion. But you should figure it out because you'll be able to get all the latest updates really easy. I would guess a screenshot guide might help this but since I use the command line version in Linux I'm probably not the one to do this.

Also earlier there was a comment about putting it in a zip so you can download it faster, subversion supports http compression so using subversion should be sending it to you compressed already. It only took me about 20 minutes to get all the skins.

I mentioned this previously but:

Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/Static Meshes/*.usx (Result of a typo - REMOVE)
Paths={BASE}/dc-skin-pack/TauntAnims/*.psa (Not used by UT2004. REMOVE. Was in a model pack because the author couldn't figure out how to append animations to UKX files.)

You also should mention that editing your ini file to accommodate these other directories is optional.
