Why, 750GB WD Black Caviars run around $60-$75 each and the 1TBs run about a c-note apiece. The 500s run somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 or so.

Do you know what takes up all of that space?
I used to use a program called treesize to find where all my space was being consumed. I have seen close 10gigs wasted on some dvd authoring software that failed to purge the temporary files.

Another program that is quite handy is bleachbit. It most likely wont free up a bunch of space, but can find temporary folders that the windows cleaner overlooks.

You can also delete all but the last restore point, and be able to recover up to 30g.

If you have a lot of programs that you don't use, but you don't want to uninstall them, you can utilize the disk compression by right-clicking the program folder, select properties, and click compress folder to save space, press ok, and select all subfolders...it should take a while, but it should reduce the space consumed.

most of the things i delete are a few programs i've d/l'd to check out and movies that I save the temp for to make sure there's no glitches in the disk but ya can eat disk space up fast that way!
