A metal version of an epic rock song! Very very well done, quite similar to the original, just add a little rage!
Love that version Hansi has one of the best Metal voices

I came to this thread to mention just that song. The fist time I heard that song was from "Donnie Darko". The Tears for fears version is just too fast. It's a great but sad song.

You mean I really am important? How I feel when I'm drunk is correct?

I'd also agree, this is probably my favorite cover of all time. Plus Donnie Darko is one of my favorite movies, so it only improves it.

Gotta add Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch's cover of Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side". It's just so much more...........ok, ok, only kidding.
Someone mentioned Siouxsie & the Banshees cover of "Dear Prudence". Great choice.
I'd also add their cover of Iggy Pop's "The Passenger" as well as a cover they did of Dylan's "This Wheel's on Fire".
I'm a fan of Siouxsie & the Banshees. The "Once/Twice Upon a Time" greatest hits albums are wonderful.
I could add a ton of Metallica covers off the Garage Days stuff.... e.g. "Die Die My Darling", "Breadfan", "Stone Cold Crazy"....etc.
Oh, and ANYTHING covered by Richard Cheese. If you don't know who he is, well, you owe it to yourself to look him up.

So I just discovered Lacuna Coil's version of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence.
Cool, but DM is better.

Its on my calendar! I'm totally excited!
Sidenote to your sidenote: Depeche Mode will be here on August 25th!!!! Ooo, come visit and we'll go see them together. Cham's not interested in $70 a ticket.
I just watched the Shiny Toy Guns link you posted. DM's is better. But I may have to look into them a bit more. I liked the sound.
