I'ma gonna dig this thread up to make an update:

I got a job!

After six months of dead ends after graduation, I finally got one. The job is kinda hard to describe, but it involves working with the computers that manage big lab machines at a biomedical tech company. The location is great because it's in the area where I went to college (friends + family = bonus). I'm really excited about the job and I start on Monday. I just found out only a couple of days ago (!!!) so it's all moving pretty fast. Definitely worth the wait

Grats! In this day and age, way too many college grads are looking and looking and looking. I read someplace that we have far more undergrads staying on than normal to get their masters, and more master's grads deciding to pile it on higher and deeper. Even our PhD grads in what is a top-5 CS school in the nation are talking longer to find that job. So to find one... again, Grats!

And btw boingo... better to come in out of breath and unable to say "Wow!"

It's going really well. I'm enjoying it and I think it's a good fit, which were some of my worries.

Not sure how I'm gonna fit some UT into my schedule yet... I have to wake up around 5 to battle traffic, so I'm a wee bit tired at the end of the day. I'll figure something out

I'll trade ya. Been unemployed since January. Love to go back to work to escape this appt. Even with school, it's not a full time thing. I dont really know when my next class will be. So boredom is all I have these days.
Congrats finding a job! I hope I can do the same after November (when I'm scheduled to be done)
