I have an old saying that is applicable to running out of ammo in a intense situation.

"Klick Kills"

it is only made worse when shots you may have fired and are still in the air are suddenly made less powerful.

I don't think that anyone was truly abusing the old loophole, most of the high scorers are still beating their old records.

as for this thread, I don't think Jason is abusing anything because to get those extra shots (ammo) he has to switch weapons twice. think of it as changing the clip from one weapon to another. depending on the weapon he could be firing anywhere from one to 4 times, as far as I can tell he may come out ahead or be losing several hundred points of damage to add an effect.

In fact, you can do the same thing standing near a weapon pickup with non-* weapons. Fire until you just have one shot left, toss the weapon, run over the pick up you have your starting ammo again. see, the thing is, its just not worth the time.

unless its freezing...and invisble skarj's.....hit 2 shtos with freezing w/e wep...then swap to flak to finsh..same wiht poison..cus the effect conitnues [i]thereafter[/] you shto so even if time is wasted in switching you sitll ahve an effect..(also i just find freezing to helpful with retreating ...:/...shoot and run....) yeah i dont thinks abuse either and ita not somethign one can even try to do

HEEEY....i ogtta another question..not related directly to game play...but rather just to UT in generally...

Is there a way for me to disable one of the loading screens?
(you know those ones that display while the map is wel...loading.....
and it has ona hint name of the map..la de da)
i dont mean all of them i just me one oft hem in particular so that it doesnt appear in the ranodm order of pictures used for loading maps..

anyone??

Go to your user.ini, Ctrl+F, search for "background," which should lead to a set of settings about loading screens.. set those numbers from 1-4 to change which pics appear during loading.
