DIA is back on a normal schedule by now.......However, the backlog will take some time. Those who are boarding at DIA will have the most problems, but who are passing thru to other destinations shouldn't have any trouble.

It was a brown Christmas here. This year, we got our earliest snowfall in some time, both measured and just falling, but the article in the paper this AM said that the expectation is that we will also have one of the brownest seasons ever.

Of course, it figures that with this and all the other things going on in my life, this would be the year I would think the most about sitting in front of a fireplace, cuddled up to someone I love and who loves me, enjoying a movie and drinking hot chocolate or something else we liked, looking out at all the beautiful snow we played in earlier in the day. SIGH!

We are now forecast to get another 6 to 30 inches over the next couple of days!!!!!!! Talk about abundance of snow.

Latest update on snowfall at my house:

total snowfall as of 12/26/06: 38 inches

Snowfall predicted from 12/28 thru 01/02: 18 to 24 inches, currently have more than 10 inches here.

State and most local governments are closed for the 2nd time in less than 2 weeks---unheard of!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have it in me. Unfortunately, it has mostly been rendered unconcious around here and few know it exists. Maybe after what I am about to start finishing gets resolved (which may take a few months, depending on how nasty things get and how it drags out in the courts), I might be able to start seeing if I can get it to wake up, perhaps with the help of somone who cares.

BTW... that much snow could be very fun, **IF**
1) I did not have to shovel it, and
2) I did not have to go somewhere.

Yeah, send some to me too while your at it please! Our christmas was brown and green too. Finally today we got a dusting, only about 1/2 an inch, but that is hardly enough, I want feet not inches!.......Sorry for the rant, I am flustrated. I guess I'll have to do the snow dance at the next new moon. Hrmf, not as spry as I used to be, and the cold feels much colder now....
