Proficiency for WMs:
A way to specialize with a particular weapon. Once a player gets enough kills with a certain weapon (Kind of like the flak monkey message,) they become more proficient with that weapon. Weapon speed and damage goes up slightly just for that weapon. It can also be added that all other weapons become less proficient.
Rather than just do it for one weapon, I suggest we let it track all weapons. For each kill, you get an increase on damage for that weapon. Reset at start of map, and on death. Set the increase to be +0.1% per level per kill, with 5 levels, would then give you +0.5% per kill. 200 kills = double damage.
Also have another skill that again tracks kills, but this time increases the plus modifier on the weapon. So for each 100 kills the + goes up by one - regardless of if it is maxed. So a +6 piercing would go to +7, +8 .... Weapon of course would not be droppable.
Both of these have the advantage that they do not make the player too powerful in the early waves, so low levels still have a chance.
This subclass would not be able to buy Advanced Damage Bonus, and would probably not be able to pick up artifacts, and would probably be limited to LW2 (good at using weapons, but not naturally having good weapons), but would otherwise be a standard WM. SubClass only available to WMs. An alternative extreme WM really.
Tried it on my test server, and I think it is worth a go.
I didn't add the second ability that adds +1 onto weapons - it wasn't necessary. The weapon proficiency skill I set at 10 levels of 0.05% each. So when maxed, it does 0.5% extra damage per kill. 200 kills = double damage. 400 kills = triple damage. I put a cap on it at triple damage.
It may be a bit too powerful, but it loses 15% for advanced damage, and LW3-5, and rod kills - so I think it is worth testing.
So I will submit to cvs.

I would also disable any effects of dd or td, or do a check for to see if dd or td is enabled and cap the max damage. How crazy would it be for someone to be playing with 600% damage?

I'm curious. If you took the am/mm hybrid what happens when you use the double magic modifier on your medic weapon?

The subclass system is setup so that you are not stuck with a subclass. You can sell it back and switch to another.

If only something happened to the server so the admins would be forced to come and fix it, then maybe just maybe we can get the subclasses in

So I have added the three extra Specialist SubClasses for the Engineers, and have changed the Extreme Engineer subclass, as it was a bit too strong.
All four now get their own lists of things they can spawn.
For the moment, the configuration is likely to be:
All get the current list of blocks and walls
The Extreme Engineer is likely to have the same list as the normal Engineer. However it will have increased RapidBuild, Armor Vampire and Construction Health bonus. However Max level 2 for Ghost. Reduced Weapon damage, but increased vehicle, turret and sentinel damage. No shield healing or regen.
The Turret Specialist is a variant of the Extreme Engineer, but will only have Turrets and blocks. It will have a slightly nerfed Link Turret, and will do more turret damage
The Vehicle Specialist is a variant of the Extreme Engineer, but will only have vehicles and blocks. It will have a slightly nerfed Goliath and a Manta, and will do more vehicle damage
The Sentinel Specialist is a variant of the Extreme Engineer, but will only have sentinels, blocks and barrels. It will have currently no new sentinels, but having more points will allow more options. It will do more sentinel damage
I have no doubt some rebalancing will be required.
