lol ya i remember with my first. she was tiny too. only 6 lb 1 oz. im tryin not to worry too much! but your mind starts to wander...like i said its prob nothing! he just better gain a lil weight here! grr!! but ty eme its nice to know there are others out there that had small babies and were totaly fine! its comforting!

I was actually only 5 lbs....I don't know whether other people would say I'm "fine" or not, but I made it through to this point somehow. Keep us updated!

you guys are prob getting sick of the up-dates here but as i have NOTHING else to do while waiting here please bare with me.
went to docs today. didnt really get a straight answer on anything. im getting really close (with-in a week) but the baby looks starved. they think the placenta is not feeding him enough. all i know is he has a big head is still really active and has hair! So i go in for a non-stress test sometime this week and a better ultra sound (the one they did it with today is like from the 1920's and they couldnt get an accurate reading on anything). so ya! hopefully we will have a baby by this weekend tho! ill let you all know!

As you know from our IM convos... I have been including you, the baby and the rest of your family in my prayers, generally about 2nd in the list. I will talk to you tomorrow.
And on the weight, as folks have said, it is probably not a critical issue. Lots of babies are born weighing only 5lbs or so, and knowing how far off they can be, even immediately before you deliver, he could end up being almost as big as your daughter was. And if it were of a bigger concern, I am sure the doctor would have done more than they did in sending you back home.

Heya peeps!
Well, after a rough run for the last 37ish weeks, the little man has arrived! Seth William Ryan came at 1AM on 8/20. He was 6 lbs. and 10 oz, 19" long. The labor went very smoothly, both baby and momma all healthy, and now we're just tryin to get mom over the postpartum pains.
Yeah, was just a routine doc appt and he sent us right down to L&D so that was nice. No panic sprint to the hospital or anything
Anyway, we appreciate all the prayers thoughts and well wishes! Heres a pic of the little guy!
