How do you turn it off. I had both of our computers turned off somehow but then we upgraded a motherboard and cpu and had to reinstall some things and now we can't get the voice chat to disable again. I've already did the User.ini file and many times tried messing with the sound options but we still here voices. The server does not have voice chat forced does it?

You dont have voice chat enabled? You're missing out on most of the chat!
You can never mute someone logged in as an admin.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

the voice chat does something weird on my computer. it tends to muffle all the surrounding sound and give out a loud voice. so i just turned it all off.
think of it as, whenever someone talks, you take your radio volume and turn it all the way down to quiet, then you speak, and when you're done speaking, turn the volume back up again. if it weren't for that, i'd probably have it on.

Sounds like you should adjust the volume settings in your game settings.
You can adjust main volume, effects volume, chat volume, etc.

ok, finally figured it all out. you have to enable voice chat but then block people out individually on the server menu while in the game...
you'll hear less complaining from me
