When you are i the screen where you post something, look up. there are several buttons up there, to insert an image, click the Img button, type or copy and paste the url of the image you want to insert then hit the Img button again. thats it, your done.

Things that are on your hard drive do not have a URL. You'd have to upload the image to some webspace or somesuch, and then it would have a URL that you could use.
