The patch could be used instead of bulky electrodes to monitor brain, heart and muscle tissue activity and when placed on the throat it allowed users to operate a voice-activated video game with better than 90 percent accuracy.  

I love how one of the first practical tests for this technology was playing video games. "Forget the medical stuff, how can this help me PWN at Halo?!"

Joking aside, that's a fascinating article, and I'm definitely looking forward to future developments in the technology. Thanks Electrician!
