I haven't been here in a while but I'm moving to SLC and remembered there were a few people that were from that area.

Any suggestions on stuff to do / see?

If you like the outdoors, there's hiking, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, mountain biking. Cham and I like to roadbike. There's an aquarium, the zoo is ok, a dinosaur museum, Timpanogos Cave.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you moving to Utah?

I don't know exactly how far it is from Salt Lake, but you should check out the Homestead Crater in Midway.

I saw it on a travel progam the other day. It is a domed crater which is home to a mineral pool that is a popular tourist spot. You can swim or scuba dive in its 96 degree waters, and it is a site to behold. It looked like a very interesting spot to visit. Very cool wonder of nature.

Summit Extra Pale Ale....the best beer known to man.

The crater is about 1.5 hours east of SLC. As Boingo said, there are lots of outdoor things to do here when the weather is nice. Lots of hiking and biking places to go (both mountain and road). They even have the Tour of Utah bike race here during the summer. It is getting bigger each year with more well known riders coming. There is also camping and backpacking places to go along with the national parks/monuments in the southern part of the state. If you like skiing or snowboarding, there are quite a few ski areas very close.
