Doing the job search is one thing, tracking some of it for unemployment is another thats not bad , BUT! this you GOT TO DO X number of hours per week AND TRACK ALL OF IT is a ROYAL pain! since I got a big Honey do list and one car. its worse than having a job!

Your state requires you to keep track of job hunting hours? wow...
I just have to list 2 contacts per week. Some weeks I find more. But now that I'm in the hiring process, I just apply for jobs I'm under qualified for so I know I wont get a call from them, just to satisfy the requirement.

But as to not double up on anything, I keep track in excel.

No the state only needs 2 a week but they are not asking me to prove it to them(heh heh must be a age thing).

Now the county for the cash aid has 32 hr job search req for me some ppl get 35 hrs to do! I have 22 for job search and 10 in their computer lab for learning marketable software program skills IE word ,excel and such. but I have to track the amount of time I spend at each place I apply to even if its online.

Ah, this is vocational rehab. Actually you can have this done at a higher level, kinda like what I did. It's a complete retraining into a different field if there is a lack of jobs in what you previously did.
