Oregon Trail

Hi all,

I have been blessed with a new job in Oregon.
The catch was I had to move from Houston. 2200 miles later (plus a scary accidental detour through Salt Lake City,) I am here.
The wife and kid will be here Thanksgiving day, just in time to see snow I guess.

I probably won't have my gaming computer up for a while, but now that I have somewhat normal working hours (I was working graveyard on weekends at my last job,) I might actually have a chance to play online again.

Looking forward to playing with yall again.

and where in Oregon did you move to? There's a couple of us just a few hrs south of the border in Nor-Cal.

There was a pretty interesting downhill drive down I-80.
Earlier there was a warning sign about people dying on that road.

and where in Oregon did you move to? There's a couple of us just a few hrs south of the border in Nor-Cal.

I am on the border of WA, right on the Columbia River. About 60mi E of Portland.

btw, it snowed today.

I broke down on the salt flats once. When I was moving from Ca. to SD. Was my starter...was stranded for hours. Dad had to drive who knows how far to the next town to buy a new one...and even that one didn't work. come to find out, it was assembled backwards. He fixed that and in it went. What a fiasco.

got down to the low 20's last night here in red bluff and is like maybe 50 right now!

Ew...ya. I-80 is terrible, especially in the winter. Apologies for that being your impression.
