Just looking for clarity...

I know there's freebies for lowbies through level 40, but what are they?
Can we get a post that let's us know?

We had a discussion on the server the other day and it would just help in teaching some of the young and helping them build up and using these 40 levels wisely.

LOL the freebies for below lvl 40 is ghost and regen I do not beleave there has been anything else added.
I may be getting old and falling apart but I can sure can raise Hell and have fun doing it!

That is correct. Ghost 1 only.

actually depending on what class you are you get small levels of skills depending on which of the 4 you currently are. For example a low level AM gets free adrenaline drip until 40 and energy leech I believe, and the WM gets free vamp. Actually the engineer does not get anything special as it starts up now that I recall other than the accustomed ghost and regen.

Exactly.... and that's what would be nice to know.

For example.. a lowbie WM gets vamp 1 or 2ish... so it's really what skill and the level. Because my guess (from what I can tell) is that if you purchase the same skill, you lose the freebie version. I.e. if you buy vamp 1, you lose vamp 2 (if that's what you get.

Correct, so its not smart to buy those free given skills until after you are level 40

What extras you get depend on what class you are

For starters, for all classes you get Ghost 2 up to level 20, reducing to ghost 1 up to level 40.

WM - Regen 3 to level 20, then regen 2 to level 40. Also Vampire 2 up to 20, then vampire 1 up to 40.

AM - Regen 3 to level 20, then regen 2 to level 40. Adren drip 2 to level 20, drip 1 to level 40.

M/MM - Regen 5 to level 20, then regen 4 to level 40

Eng - Regen 3 to level 20, then regen 2 to level 40. ArmorRegen 2 to level 20, reducing to ArmorRegen 1 to level 40

General - Regen 3 to level 20, then regen 2 to level 40. Adren drip 2 to level 20, drip 1 to level 40.

Note that all of these addons are supposed to be additive, except for ghost. So if you are a General class and at level 15 buy a level of regen, then you will have regen 4. At least that was the theory. However, I suspect in some cases, because the class gets applied before the actual ability, some may get reset just to the ability level. At a quick glance, it looks like Regen, Adren drip and Armorregen will all just take the ability level. But the vampire looks good.

man they get more than I got on my gen char and that got more then I got on the others which was nil! lmao!

This hasn't changed recently. The engineer and general have always had these benefits. The others got set years ago - about 2007 I think.

Szlat when I joined the medic was just coming out I beleave and I was past lvl 40 when Eng came out and did not get any freebies until I made a Eng and Gen class char's
