Where do I get it?
http://www.filefront.com/15433153/DRPG-Stat-Planner-v221.2-Blank.xls/
It already comes with a How to Use Guide and 6 blank sheets that are already to go, just input your current level and stats and your ready to plan.

What is it?
Basically the spreadsheet is a level planner on how you want to spend your points on. It helps you plan further ahead on when you can get that next ability and maximize the number of stat points you can use getting to that ability. It can tell you when abilities become available, how much they cost and what they cap out at.

What program does it use?
I made the spreadsheet in MS Excel and should be compatible with most versions of it.

How many levels does it cover and does it cover all 4 classes?
It covers up to the next 83 levels beyond what you set it as. Say you are level 50. It will cover levels 50 to 133. Running out of room, just copy your current new stats to a new sheet with the updated level and gain an additional 83 levels to plan.

For example, you are level 50. It will cover up to 133. When you level up to around 100, you can easily make a new sheet and use your current stats at 100 to track from 100 to 183, etc.

And yes each sheet has all the abilities for all 4 classes, just scroll down to the class you wish to use for that sheet.

Why was it created?
Basically I wanted to know how to spend my stat points effectively to where I can do the best that I can at my current level. Its helpful to know that "Oh, I'm going to be pumping my Health Bonus up next to work my way on getting Ghost" for example.
I made the first version of it a long long time ago (based on the v200 release). It was really helpful to me at the time and I shared it with a few friends. They liked it as well. Now that I'm back to playing UT2004 again, I decided to share it with the DC community. Never know who it might help next. I made it better and more simple to use and here it is.

Is it easy to use?
Its very easy to set up and very easy to use. Basic spreadsheet knowledge is all you need to now. Advanced users can get more out of it by hiding the class abilities that don't pertain to your class, hide levels that you have already passed and the like but basic knowledge is all you need to set it up and go.

What does it look like?

Subclasses are on the horizon, will the spreadsheet support those?
Yes, I have already made plans on how to implement the subclasses and shouldn't be too hard to incorporate them.
UPDATE: Subclasses are now live on the server. However they are only for levels 200+ and are in heavy beta right now. For the time being, the spreadsheet isnt going to be updated to reflect that. I have however started working on the new version to fully include the subclasses as they come out of the first test phase.

Got any suggestions or questions about it, just post, ill try to help out. Also if there are any errors, lemme know about it as well so I can fix it and get an updated version out. I think I doubled checked everything but things could slip through the cracks.

Alice and the Hatter: Quotes: Alice in Wonderland
Alice: What a funny watch! It tells the day of the month, and it doesn't tell what o'clock it is!
The Hatter: Why should it? Does your watch tell you what year it is?
Alice: Of course not, but that's because it stays the same year for such a long time together.
The Hatter: …which is just the case with mine.

You should be able to keep your stats if you use the same cd-key.

As long as its the same CD key, you should still have your stats. I know they did a small wipe a few months back for everyone below 40 unless you had a mid level character. I was away from the game for about a year (due to a bad internet connection) and came back and everything was still there. I've also reinstalled Ut2004 prob a half a dozen times and still have my character. Just make sure its the same CD key you used when you made your character.

One word of notice though, you might have to go thru the Agreement thing again on first loadup of your character (where you wait 30s to read the ToU. But dont fret as your character should still be there once you load in.

Also as a notice for people following the spreadsheet, subclasses are being worked on. I wont release it yet since the subclasses are changing all the time to balance issues. Once they are more finalized, ill start releasing. This still covers everyone up to level 200 anyway since thats when you can start buying the subclasses currently.

It looks pretty cool.
I like how you mimic the game ui.
It looks like it works in linux using Mono, but my laptop screen couldn't fit the ui. Maybe you can reduce the padding between objects and reduce the font just a little.

Also you can't level up until you pick a class.

How are abilities being coded? Are you manually hardcoding them, or are you utilizing the source code of the game itself?
