I just want to clarify the state of the retaliation and countershove abilities.

The latest build 221 has new versions of these two abilities.

When Druid installed version 221 onto the server a week ago, he deleted the old Mysterial retaliation and countershove, and made available the new ones. This means that if you previously had either of the two abilities, they will have been removed, and your character will have been given the points back. So, if you still want the abilities you will need to buy them back.

Good to know, cuz I never noticed. Will have to buy back next time I play.

I wish I hadn't rebought countershove, everytime I get hit by a monster I'm targeting it bounces away, almost like a dodge. Pretty useful on a fall-off map though.

The trick is to not let them hit you.

You better call Kenny Loggins. 'Cause you're in the danger zone!

I agree with TON. I wish I had never bought back countershove. My style of play requires that I get up in the chest of monsters and splash them with my medic flak. It's irritating to work a warlord down to a red bar just to see them bounce across the map right in front of someone else to finish them off.

Is there some way to sell back, disable, or simply delete these abilities?

How about this: you make "newer" versions of them and make us buy them back again? This time I'll have a brain and stay away. Far away.

I hope I didn't imply that I can actually do that!

Isnt the subclass thing thats coming have the ability to sell all abilities (save for class) with the buy/sell button. Wouldnt mind if those became active now . Would be nice to fix a few stray bad points i put in on my AM without having to worry about emailing to get my points reset.

Now that I have more experience with counter shove I think I like it. I'm getting better at not getting hit and it really is awesome in fall off maps.
