Dragon Age

Has anyone else picked up Dragon Age?

I bought it for the PC. Here is my review:

First off, let me say that I am a HUGE fan of Baldur's Gate and NWN... and well, anything made by Bioware/Black Isle. Bioware has proven time and again that they are tops in the RPG realm, IMO.

I have been following Dragon Age for quite some time and have been very eager to play it. The game is in a word, spectacular. This is what all RPG players hope for. Fantastic production values in all facets. Great story telling, wonderful acting, and superb gameplay. DA follows in its predecessors footsteps beautifully. Fans of BG, Oblivion, Mass Effect, or any great RPG will fall in love quickly.

I prefer to play these types of games on PC because the interface, graphics, and support seem to be better than consoles.

DA features a great inventory system, detailed quest and codex info as well as the addition of a combat tactics system which is highly customizable.

The bottom line is that this is one RPG that should not be missed if you have an interest in the genre. It is a wonderful example of how to make a game which immerses the player completely in its world.

The addition of a downloadable toolset which allows players to generate user created content is fabulous.

To put it simply: if you have the funds and the time, BUY THIS GAME. You will not be disappointed.
