Congrats! I'm still waiting for level 500. Then, maybe, I will create some new characters, unless sub classes come into play. If so, watch out.

I literally learned how to play UT on this server, actually, this was the first ever real attempt to play any FPS game anywhere, ever! Gosh I was so bad I didn't even know how to move around the map never mind kill any monsters. I started with a medic as I needed to stay alive and after 60 some levels I determined that the medic class is, at least for me, (no offensive to all those medics out there that help make this a great server) boooorrrrrring! Reset that character and made HighwratH an am and I am going to start playing him more often, definitely fun but gosh I hate dieing.


Note: special thanks to Ton80. If not for him I would have never heard of this place, nor UT for that matter. It's all his fault!

then we need to say thank you to ton80 as well!! we are glad your here!!! I just happened to come across this server when i started out! It was way back when cpt.crunch was still playing! and dirty_deeds! Still its fun getting to know everyone who comes in and stays! we have an awesome server!

I second Pyro's sentiments - I really enjoy this server and the people that stay and become "old timers" (even though my highest character is in the low 100's still, my signup date is Jan 2005)

Yup, congrats Desert! I remember that I was about done with UT2K4 when I stumbled into the DC server. DC brought the interest back to the game big time.


It’s hard being a Medic and a drunk, but I try to keep my XP near my BAC
