At the end of the game i like celebrating with shield blasts and medic blasts as if they are huge fireworks. But sometimes I get tired of seeing yellow and blue, so I made a new artifact that does the same as shield and healing blast, only it doesn't heal anything, just spawns a pretty explosion. I have only started on the color red, and I was wondering what you guys think before I proceed further. The artifact only costs 5 adrenaline per explosion.

However:

OVERALL USE: POINTLESS!!

I can even make an ability that can give it to you. I was thinking that at Level 1, you get all basic colors. Level 2 gives you color combos. Level 3 gives you Rainbow fireworks. Level 4 gives you a fireworks launcher, a rocket launcher that shoots fireworks at random colors and has infinite ammo. Cost per level: 3,5,8,11

they will reply when they want dont force it,
personaly i like the idea, sometimes it gets so hard to finish a map i wish i had fireworks at the end,

overall thoughts, why not couldnt hurt ,maybe have each class have thier own special class firework.

like on a old rpg i used to play everquest
during holidays they would throw events, i completed one,and i recieved a staff of solusek, my friend got staff of rodcet knife and there were like 4 other staffs each staff had a unique firework,and each class had a diffrent one.

anywho yeah i say do it,overall group effort even if its at the end of the wave,and its just a firework,it promotes better group habits at the begining of the next map.

I have heard that it's possible to glitch and continue to gain experience by using some artifacts after the game ends. So I'm more inclined to see the ability to use artifacts at the end of the game as a potential exploitation issue than something that might want to be encouraged.

Although if the former issue were fixed and someone wanted to make up some nice looking fireworks emitters I wouldn't be opposed to the whole thing.

then lets make a "combo" that you can use anytime. no worries to gain exp sinces the code says no exp



now in that combo you get the same "image" as the shield blast but with shinny colors

Alright guys, like the comments.

I feel it's time to release the first version of the fireworks, really just a test. All it has is the red fireworks artifact. I just wanna see what you guys think of it in-game rather than mind-apettizing words.

Just place the RPGFireworks.u file in UT2004\System.

I don't have an ability for it yet, so here is how to use it.

Just start a simple UT game, make sure the UT2004RPG mutator is being used.

Go to the console and type:

summon RPGFireworks.ArtifactRedFireworksPickup

(It doesn't have to match the case)

Pick it up.

Get some adren, the artifact only costs 5 adren per use.

BLAST AWAY!!
