whats better flak or link gun vs titans

.. the topic is self explanatory..
now i know it depends on DR and DB and Wep speed. but lets assume equal conditions..
if you had only those weapons in wave 8 what would you use?= why?

I would say on an even field, it would all have to do with range. Link farther away, because titans don't move all that much, then flak up close and personal for max damage per spred.

Agree, but remember that if you have a GOOD sniper rifle, you have your distance. Flak is the best in the close encounters.

I do it all the time with my eng. I have no ammo to support using a flak
My other characters are too low to tell the effectiveness of either, and my WM has a weird habit of trying to use the shield gun attack on titans...go figure.

The link alt-fire is only really effective on metal titans if you do not have any projectile based weapons.

or if you have an engi link. if you can get someone to link to you with your engi link it is no DD your normal engi link which is substantial and it is now normal length
