WM's from my point of view i think the regen isnt needed with the medics around , vamp is good enough i think, maybe give regen to a class that needs it,
we get alot of adrenaline, 250 is alot for WM's,its enough to make 2 magic weapons and maintain a rod with enough monsters,
and yes WM's can also use the Triple/double/rod like the LA's and Maintain it,TESTED on spacenox, all i did was shoot stuff and let the double/triple and rod do the rest, didnt work as well on larg maps thoe,
i think WM's should be prohibited from picking up LA pinyata artifacts,
with La artifacts a high enough WM can be a LA at will.
beyond that WM's as far as i know were nerfed numerous times but this could balance things out incase other classes are nerfed or tweaked,

Eh, rarely use rod/bolt/triple as I have found out that (for myself, that is) that the rod/bolt don't seem to do enough damage to warrant the cost of adrenaline. Ditto for the Triple. So nerfing those artifacts would not bother me, especialy since I'm just an average player.

Look, out of my experience in playing all 4 classes i believe yes the WM are unbalanced especially since they score the least out of the rest. My engineer, medic and junkie seem to pass my weapon master in score by 500 to 1500 points so if you were going to do something about it minus well add something more to the WM because i really think they can use all the help they can get.
ps. i keep all my characters roughly around the same level

While I was wrong about the Triple/Rod issue, I know for a fact that Junkies do not pinata any more - *I* fixed that.
The only time a WM will get artifacts is from monsters ... so if you want to limit that, you just have to set it up so that monsters don't spit out artifacts any more.

I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned somewhere cuz I could swear I've seen it, but I have seen some LA artifacts laying around sometimes. I'm not sure if the player dumped them or if the pinata effect is back.

I think some AMs have a key bind set to dump all their artifacts when they leave. And some WMs to dump all their weapons. And some people dump health/adrenaline - though not from a macro.

Is it all of them? Or is it perhaps ones that they might have run across that were tossed from monsters?
It's highly possible that if an LA runs over monster-spawned artifact that he will spew that one.
And if it wasn't an actual LA that died, that might also be the case.
Only a true LA who hasn't had contact with an other "copies" of his artifacts won't spew them unless he does it manually.
Been a while since I fixed it ... there may be something to do with *how* the LA died, too.

So, Elite at the very high end thinks WMs are slightly underpowered compared to the other classes.
Is everyone else's experience the same?
At low to mid level I would expect the WM to be better than the AM. Medics would probably always be top.
But feedback from those that know rather than my guesses please.

High-level WMs are very underpowered but we have lived with it for a long time. The biggest problem for any 300+ WM is the ability to survive the 12/14/16 waves without a piercing weapon, let alone being the only only one left alive during those waves. If you have noticed, the top 3 WM players are usually dead late on those waves.

Surely this is a symptom of being high level? Medics and Engineers will suffer exactly the same. AMs have a better chance of generating a piercing weapon, but will have less chance surviving if there isn't a medic as the high level monsters do serious damage.

Exactly, that's the only problem I have..............Seriously, high level WMs seem to be very underpowered. I cannot put my finger on the problem--just a gut feeling. I'm not really qualified to give a honest opinion since I'm just an average player. We need to get the other high-level WMs to weigh in with their thoughts.

i dont think WM's are under powerd at all, my wm is 300,, only time i have problem is when im the last one left, thats just because of the monsters difficulty goes up to my lvl,Wm's dont get aoe zappers and modifiers,or sentinals or exp from shooting others, they go out and shoot shooot shooot, and do not give WM's a peircing weapon,,they spawn with all plus as is, luck of the draw. you dont need pericing weps as a WM yes its nice to 3 shot a titan, but we get so many weps all plus, with max ammo
the only real issue i see is Wm's are the only class without a AOE effect based /artifact,or exp from link or healing. similar to the LA Medic and Engineer, Wm's get nadda realy, not that WM's need any, they are quite powerful as is,
with max regen-vamp-ressuply alone,, you rarely need a medic, and every weapon is not only positive but infinity do to the ressuply, and thats just 3 of many skills.,
in short WM's dont get artifacts or a means to help others,we are simply the BRUTE of the battle field, the tank if you will, Wm's in my view are neither over powerd or under powerd, but they also do not help the group much either.

WMs are not really a good fit to group together with other classes and to some extent, neither are AMs.
