A while back my Logitech mouse left button stopped working. Logitech finally replaced it with a new one. Actually they said that my mouse is no longer made so they had to replace it with a desktop combo. So now I have a new Mouse and keyboard.
The problem is that I have never used a Logitech keyboard before.
The keys are re-arranged...the insert key is up with the F-keys??? The delete is twice as big now. Does anyone find a bigger delete key useful? I would think that making the button that can erase files bigger and easier for kids to press to be a bad thing.
Anyway, I am happy I finally got my mouse back, but scared to try out my new keyboard.
Guess I will find out, once I remap my keybinds.
Oh it is a MX3200 laser cordless desktop (the keyboard has a clock!)

Hey greg11 - I have the same keyboard and mouse... turns out I'm not too thrilled with either, but they are better than what I had (cheapo keyboard and dell basic optical mouse - neither was wireless).
one of my big complaints about the keyboard (other than the big delete key... wth?) is that it doesn't have a "power off" button - it has a sleep button, which Vista recognizes but my old $2 keyboard had a power button (if it hadn't felt like a toy keyboard I would have kept it).
Another thing with this keyboard is that the sides are not straight... they curve outwards - and while that may be aesthetically pleasing, functionally it gets in the way of my mouse movement.
Note: I have not loaded the Logitech drivers and control program that came with the kb/mouse - I'm just using the standard functions that the OS supports. Maybe with the added functionality I would like it better (the four extra presets? dunno)

I've gone through a couple keyboards. Ergonomic and wireless and both had the del key placed "old style", along with "end" and "page down" keys. I stayed away from those keyboards with long and big Delete key. I found it distracting and I'm used to having only two big keys, enter and shift.
Now I'm back to a "corded" logitech keyboard. I can't go back to a no brand name or microsoft keyboard. Can't beat illuminated keys and macros
I got logitech speakers, mice, web cam ... i guess im a big fan of their products. Only one mice failed me, but got replacement for it, the mouse G7.
Let us know if you have adjusted to this new keyboard layout ... is it working for you after a few days using it?

I have a Logitech mx510 mouse and it's left button just went out last week. I ended up getting a good switch from an old mouse and soldering it in place of the broken one. I think I'd rather get a replacemeny mouse but I don't like to wait.

I actually desoldered about 9 buttons from old mice. They are all pretty much the same component. I was about to just replace the button on my mouse, but couldn't figure out how to open it up without breaking it...searching online to see if anyone else was able to open it is how I found out about the warranty. I have plenty of mice laying around...I just liked that one the best.

Staples has the Logitech MX600 Cordless Laser Mouse for $19.99+ shipping on their site. Or you can go and pick it up at store.

Cool find.
I like the mouse. The keyboard is not easy to get used to. I am finding that the keys on this keyboard like to be pressed with only a downward force. Sometimes when I play I try and hit a key with my thumb or pinky and find that I have to reorient my fingers to press the keys. The keys on my old keyboard didn't have to travel as far, thus easier to press.
Guess I should get some finger weights.
Oh and Spike, you are right, this keyboard has a bigger footprint than what I am used to...It is constantly getting in the way.
I do like the built in clock though
I also haven't found a use for the Dynamic zoom...I can do that with my mouse wheel.
And the bigger issue is that there is no 64bit linux driver for it, so half of the macro keys don't work. ( I only use windows for games, and linux for productivity)
