Hey I was thinking about trying my hand at model creation.... I wanted to try making some models for myself so others don't have to (Road and Jefe). Just looked for a place to start or any tips.... thanks

search around the Atari forums (Archived ut2004 me thinks) should be lotsa stuff there

I noticed that my ut2004 cd came with maya 5 personal learning edition.
I dont think i can get a key for that version anymore. I think they make you download the latest version (8 i think) does that still work with ut2004?

I can gladly help you. I dont have much experience with it either.. but I do have experience with Autodesk Inventor.
