What does one have to do ?

To get a new version of rpg ? I know 2.00 is the official version but i see alot of other servers running 214 216 204 and so on. Yet i can not find any downloads for it anywhere.

Is there a way i could get a new version , Preferably 216 ? Please ?

When a version becomes a release version is determined solely by Dru (and Shan I guess). He provides no insight into his decision process, or the timing of such.

Any other suggestions as to how to obtain the "beta" version of DruidsRPG short of becoming a DruidsRPG developer (talk to Dru about that), or contacting Druid directly and asking for him to give it to you, I would guess run the risk of a forum or game ban. At the very least, it's considered bad form/forum etiquette as the beta would not be supported outside of its use on Druid's server. Any complaints about bugs that cannot be duplicated on Druid's server will likely be ignored, since there's no telling if it's the code in DruidsRPG or some other mod running on that server (and the aforementioned fact that it's beta and not meant to be a full "release").

Other servers running a version of DruidsRPG later than the current release version are doing so against the advice of Druid himself, and are running DruidsRPG in an unsupported manner.

This i know , but i still need the New version of the RPG Configuration Settings. And you can not get that from cache. Someone could always PM it to me

Sorry to say but I doubt you will get that configuration file. You're not the only one waiting for a release (as many many people are) but if its not released yet, dru's just not ready to release it yet (due to bugs still, etc.). Those that are running the newer version's are either leaks or the person themself built the configuration file from scratch (which is prone to bugs). Those versions are unstable as they are not the official release.

Your only options are to:
~Wait for Dru to offically release the new version
~Play on the DC server and enjoy the version
~Play on the other servers and deal with possible bugs, crashes, glitches.
~Cache Extract the version and build the configuration file from scratch (gl with that).
~DL and play/host the 200 version (latest release).

Sorry if I sound a little rude but the talk about wanting the release or knowing when has been stated several times already. It will be released in "Dru Time" (otherwords whenever he feels like its ready).

Ok Ok I get it guys, And i completely understand. Thanks for all the responses. I was just unsure because i do see the newer versions on other servers and thought it would not hurt to ask.
