Problems with Denial

Has anyone had any issues with denial? There are many times that I will make all my weps and die in wave 6 only to be out all of my weps on wave 7! I have denial 3 and and usually it works fine but this is a pain sometimes when I am left high n dry. Anyone else have the issue?

From the FAQ:

This ability does not trigger for self-inflicted death.

There are many cases where what you think isn't "self-inflicted", the game does.

Although it only seems to happen when you have weps you like.

Yeah I think all those cool weapons weigh me down, hampering my ability to clear insta-death gaps when I go to jump them.

My favorite thing to do is sneak up on someone unsuspecting in onslaught and shoot them in the back, point blank with my rocket. They turn around, minus a few health points, in time to see my dead body fall limp to the ground from self inflicted rocket fire.

Aren't you a medic?

One thing I miss about halo is the wacking people in the back of the head...and the nice "whoomp" that goes with it.

With my medic char, no problem. Even if the rocket is not my medic wep, my advanced DR would make that sneak up tactic pretty effective. It is with my other chars, especially my AM, that I get in trouble, forgetting that I am not using my medic char.

oh MAN I know exactly what you mean lol had to max out my cautiousness with my LW cause I kept wacking my self to death with Piercing RLs
