bug ultima?

it could be me, but i just wanted to try it out, and i set it to 80 exp per level, so i bought ultima after a few minutes of playing, level 2, and i also bought ghost level 3.
it worked fine.
i started out a new map and whenever i die now( got 15 kills orso) i don't get an ultimate explosion, tried rebuying it, and didn't work either.

Is the problem that your have to keep buying it?
What is your DB? You need 80 DB to buy it.

no , i got it, and keep it.
it's just that when i kill someone and then get killed, i ghost away but there is absolutly NO ultima explosion.

I thought in the stock 2.00 version, you couldn't buy both Ghost and Ultima.

Are you hosting offline and playing by yourself?

'Cause when I open up a listen server to test stuff by myself, on death abilities like Ghost and Ultima never worked for me. Never really knew why, but it's only when I would host my own game.

Are you running the "Druid's RPG Game Rules" mutator?

Heh didnt know seeing as I havent played the current public release version in a long time.

newest druid downloaded from here yesterday.
instant action, newest patch.
bought both ultimate and ghost.
worked fine.
restarted ut2004.
ultima didn't work.

I am not sure how well Druid's RPG works in Instant Action. It was designed to run like DC is - a dedicated server with clients. Even running a ListenServer is not guaranteed - but is likely to have more chance than instant action.

Is that the "official release" download from the downloads page, or the "unofficial" download by extracting the current running version from the cache?

DruidsRPG2.00 (the official download) had problems with ultima and ghost, which is why they were re-written for version 2.05. The fix was to add an extra mutator "Druids RPG Games Rules" so that ultima and Ghost could be sequenced properly.

That explains it then. The bug you are encountering has been fixed but not released via the downloads page.

If you bought ultima first, it would work as you desire. If you bought ghost first, it won't.

If you're adventuresome, you can go in to your INI file where your stats are kept and reorder the list for ultima and ghost.

okay... why aren't they updating then?
i could download the newest one from my cache, or so, but then i don't know how to activate it
