Engineer class....

ok to start with, im new here.....

now, i was wondering if the Engineer class will ever be released for others to use (i) on their own server (ii) offline..

If this has already been talked about and answered then im sorry to waste time...

It has been addressed many times and the answer is still the same. Not yet as it's still in beta.

It gets addressed about once a month.
I think the saying now is "in Dru time"
Druid makes the final call on when it is ready for release.
Lately he hasn't been around much...the real world has a tendency to suck people away from video games.

Currently there are still bugs being addressed also.

although it is still in "BETA"........couldnt u post a BETA version, and let people download this at their own risk?

In Dru time. Dru will NOT release beta versions to other servers due to possible problems in the coding and until ALL testing is completed. It must be a good version before he will release.

I don't mean to be a spoilsport, but your request/question has been asked hundreds of time by other server administrators/owners and it has most always been the same.

Yes, you are correct......it's Dru and Shan decision to release and when but I would not hold my breath. Please understand that we see this same question time after time, and with the same results.

yes i can understand,

its just with such a "better" class, i would have thought they would have been "eger" to get it out for public use.

ill leave you to whatever it is you do, and ill wate for a post on this being completed and avaliable for public use

I think we all are eager to get it out for public use.

The mods on rq rpg Invasion it also has the link turret that was taken out of druids.

The link turret technically wasn't taken out of druids, just not enabled on dc.

hmm just a thought, maby you could somehow..take out the ability to crush players when you spwrn a tank, scorpian etc, as people intensionly kill theri own team but building a tank where they are standing.

Should be a new thread.

It is a good thought, but intentional team killing is against the server rules and a player could be banned.

Was this happening frequently?
Sometimes these things happen in the heat of a battle, and an accidental team kill should be over looked. Trans killing can happen too in some instances.
If a player is chasing after you trying to drop vehicles on you then report them.

Ummm to be honest, this happened on a different server not on dc.

any well yes they do run around cahing people just to drop a vehicle on them.
