Sorry everyone. We haven't gone anywhere, and nothing majorly bad has happened.

The server hard disk filled up sometime on the 30th.

The monitoring script that I have in place to page us if the server is down consequently couldn't send me a page (Yes, it really does page us) because the mail server wouldn't accept any mail on account of the hard disk being full.

Additionally, we didn't receive any emails about the server being down for the same reason. Oddly, we could still check our mail, just not actually receive any new mail.

It turns out that the unreal server had accumulated 20gb of log files since the last time I zipped them up.

Just to be safe, I rolled back the UT2004RPG data to the backup from 1 am on the 30th.

Sorry for the trouble, and sorry if anyone lost a few hours of RPG data.

BTW Dru, how long before UT3 on DC?

Thank you the update is appreciated. When the website and server was down I was saddened as I was worried that it was gone. Not only would it be a loss of great server but of playing buddies. Thank you for the fantastic server and website I appreciate all that you do. I will make a donation in the next few days to back that up!

It would be nice to see you both on line I have not seen you in over a year.
