No DC and No Beer Make Homer Something Somthing

So I see the forums are back, but the server is still MIA.
Man what a buzz kill, my 3 day weekend and no DC.
Next weekend I have to go camping with the family.
Did my wife have something to do with this? I did have an odd desire to be productive this weekend.

Well, I am glad that the forums came back...I was starting to fear that DC was going to be gone for much longer.

I was kinda afraid that everything went away for good. good to see it was just temp.

I tried following a couple of yall in hopes that someone knew of a good server, or knew what happened.
I came across dommi. He found a server that I was leveling up on just by standing around looking at my stats screen...I think i leveled up 4 times in one minute and never killed anything.

Ya, I tried several others as well. Like pain said, several are pretty much stick the monsters in a hole, give 20+ points a level and have people running around with 20,000 health. Also several servers were a bit laggy.

I did find a pretty good server last night, the WoPInvasion RPG server but again low levels have an extremly hard time and you have people running around with 150+ weaponspeed, 700 health, hundreds of DB but the pickups that monsters dropped are able to be socketed into weapons so instead say of having an Energy 3 weapon, you could have an energy 2 weapon, Poison 2, Vamperic weapon depending on what you socketed into the weapon from the pickups monsters drop. (Doesnt use classes). I had Minigun of Power+10 (5 base sockets + 10 from +'s) socketed with vorpal, damage, poision, protection, and a few others was pretty beefy for a level 15

Another server had something I really wish DC server would have. It had little icons above the players heads based on what class they were. Rocket Launcer for WM, Adrenaline Pill for AM, Health Icon above Medics and then another server combined that and had the level of the player with it. Just some nice things.

Still nothing like DC though which IMO is one of the most balanced between the classes and really between the lower levels and higher levels. Like Lower levels can easily get kills instead of only doing 1.

I thought for a minute that the Disastrous Consequences came to an ironically disastrous consequenseful end. (-;
