I remember a rpg server (no longer up, but there are many like it) where the stat points per level was really high. By level 100 there is nothing left to spend points on.

DC is much more of a challenge than those other servers, but I was curious of how many high level players have ability points that they can't spend anymore.

What if there was an ability that you can waste your stat points on?
For each level it would give you different things
1) Some sort of class identifier (like an icon next to your player name, designating what class you are.)

2) A Hat (There could be a keybind for it to change hats or remove the hat)

3) A balloon or a sign post to say I was here. Could be handy to setup markers on map ("meet me by the clown balloon"). It might be funny to see a player spawn a neon sign that points to the forum for answers.

In the past as an engineer I thought it would be appropriate to spawn a coffee table or a campfire because of the lack of action at my base. I already had the toilet car.

I think anyone thats above level 350 pretty much is to the point where theres nothing left to spend point on. Mainly when your 200+, you have all your core abilities and its just some of the more useless abilities left to get.

Theres maybe only about 20-30 people that are to the point where they cant spend ability points anymore and the triple that number that have pretty much all thier core abilites and on just getting useless ones.

350 is the last level for buying anything for a WM, even for the most worthless of abilities. Other classes bottom out even sooner.

Alice and the Hatter: Quotes: Alice in Wonderland
Alice: What a funny watch! It tells the day of the month, and it doesn't tell what o'clock it is!
The Hatter: Why should it? Does your watch tell you what year it is?
Alice: Of course not, but that's because it stays the same year for such a long time together.
The Hatter: …which is just the case with mine.
