Well it's been 8 years since Diablo 2 came out and today Blizzard announced Diablo 3!!! I'm absolutely thrilled about the announcement and it seems like the game is heavily based off the original ideas from Diablo 2, but with vast improvements. I've heard rumors that it would become an MMO, but I'm happy they were wrong. I'm not sure if anyone else has played Diablo before, but it's a fantastic game and I can't wait for the new one!

I've never played the first, and oddly enough I only played Diablo II last year. My whole floor at school got bored and everyone decided to play Diablo II, so they got me hooked... guess I was a bit late to the party haha. I saw the 20 minute gameplay footage which was very cool, the witch doctor class looks like a blast.

ya know, Diablo and D2 took about 3 years of my life collectively. I guess I am not sad, but for a while there is was a little over the top.

If you guys form some groups, count me in. It was a lot of fun, and a little profit there at the end.

I have played D2 for years, I still have in installed on my D drive. I also have the expansion Lord Of Destruction also. My friends and I used to have our game night were we brought our PCs and had group quests to get as far as we could. Good times. Been following the D3 progress for some time, but haven't heard much for a while. Glad release day is quickly approaching. I know Chad and them will be in line for this one.

VERY excited for D3.

Diablo is the first such game that actually got my wife into playing RPG/dungeon crawlers. She loves it.

Can't wait for D3, and from what I've been reading, it should be great!
