I ran out of things to buy at about level 300 therefore I really haven't gotten any stronger since then. I was wondering do the monsters keep up to my level or are they capped?
Be aware I haven't checked when I stopped buying stuff so the level could be 250 or it could be 350 for all I know, heck, I don't know it was a long time ago. All I'm asking is are the monsters capped at the level I stopped getting stuff or do the continue being at the level I'm at?

I ran out of things to buy at level 364, both necessary and useless stuff.
Unless my thinking is wrong, the monster levels are not capped, so the monsters are at your level plus an additional modification (not sure of how much but the rule of thumb I use is 110% of my level).

No caps.
The monsters get set to a level of 25% of the lowest level player, plus double the wave number.
So for FodderFigure at level 562, if he is the only one left, the monsters max at (562/4)+(16*2) = 172.
All the points they split between DR and DB, so they have 172*3.5 = 602 DB and 602 DR.
So, piercing weapons will do normal damage. Other magical weapons will do 15% damage, as that is a minimum. A normal weapon will do one damage.
The monsters will be doing 1 + (602-50)/200 = nearly four times damage against you.

Actually it is a very rare occasion that I'm the last one alive. I like to get into the fray of things and I die off around the time 1/2 to 3/4 of the others die off.

How feasible do you think it would be to inject a maximum value for Monster DB/DR, and if so, where would you need to do that (MutUT2004RPG?)?
Seems a little unfair that Monsters get to exceed the caps players have, although a little leeway is fine since players get lots of abilities monsters don't have.

yeah think about it... high enough level and you end up ith monsters that have 100% damage redux... unless you have a piercing... you are screwed!

As to the damage reduction that increases as you become higher level, I have no problem with that, it makes it more challenging. But should their damage bonus also increase?
I was playing earlier today by myself(me and 3 other bots), had a piercing flak and all seemed well, then wave 12 came... I was killing them fairly easy trying to dodge their shots, but when a null warlord got me once, two more rockets hit me and i died. Just 3 rockets and Im dead, but when the bots level 100 or so were still alive, it would take around 5 rockets to get my health to half. Is this the way it is suppose to be almost instant kill when your a high level or should their be a cap.
And i was playing with my wep master...

Agreed. DB scaling is problematic for monster balance. I rarely want monsters to one-hit-kill players, but throw a high enough level player into the mix and any monster becomes one-hit kill.
