Our SoCal Vaca

Hey everyone!

Been on vacation the past couple weeks to southern California with the family. Good old road trip, not to bad actually bout 8 hours to Anaheim from here. We had a great time at Universal Studios and Disneyland and Disney Cali.Adventure the first week, aside from Space Mountain and a couple other rides at Disneyland ,we actually spent the most of our 3 day pass at California Adventure riding the Screamin roller coaster over and over until I had a headache,lol.... then drove down to San Diego and did a week of camping there. Glad to be home, but miss the weather there, it's so hot here now, ranging in the low 100's to about 112 this past weekend. Anyway, thought I'd throw up a few pics of out trip, I took alot of pics, but just posted a few as not to bore you completely lol.

where did you camp in san diego?

We ended up camping at the KOA in Chula Vista, I do NOT recommend it, it was more like camping in the middle of a parking lot with some grassy areas in it.... we wanted to do some beach camping but they were all booked months in advance, would have loved to go back up to Big Sur, but we didn't want to drive that far north this time. So, we are trying to figure out somewhere to camp or cabin with a lil snow during this Thanksgiving, either in Cali., Utah, Colorado, or Northern Az..... if ya know of any good places, let me know!

Carlsbad State beach is a GREAT place to camp. it's a bluff that overlooks the ocean. the last time I checked, it was booked for the a year in advance... but that was a while ago. I suppose with the current gas crunch attendance might go down.

Agreed on Tower of Terror! Rode the one in Orlando (many times - early bird passes ftw)

Yes...Utah is full of awesome! Hiking biking climbing eating etc... And we have lagoon too, for all your over-priced amusement park needs. Honestly they are very close to being worth the ticket price now, new rides are schweet!

And of course theres the peeps, as mentioned above. Senor Taco lives here too, and a few others who's names escape me.

Anyway, give a shout if you get lost and wind up here!
