Hi folks,

I experience two separate incidents where the XP I was saving was spent without me conciously doing it. In both cases the XP was allocated to damage reduction. Has anyone else experienced this?

Alice and the Hatter: Quotes: Alice in Wonderland
Alice: What a funny watch! It tells the day of the month, and it doesn't tell what o'clock it is!
The Hatter: Why should it? Does your watch tell you what year it is?
Alice: Of course not, but that's because it stays the same year for such a long time together.
The Hatter: …which is just the case with mine.

If you're an engineer its because you bought a skill before the price change so you were given back a whole bunch of points for those skills but retained them...
As you hit the level when you can buy them the points are subtracted away...
see here for more examples

-Jason_X- : lvl 97 Medic
-Jas0n_X- : lvl 59 Engineer
-Jasôn_X- : lvl 47 Engineer
-Jas@n_X-: lvl 42 Adren. Master

It's possible I suppose. This most recent loss just happened over night. I had some xp in the bank yesterday and this morning it went to damage reduction. Were there any code changes over night to coencide?

You are welcome to email the admin and they will reset your stats. You will loose where you put the stats and get all your stats back but you will have to place them were you want them to go again. This could happen in one day or one week depending how busy they are. In the meantime just keep playing and keep an eye on your abilities.

You mean I really am important? How I feel when I'm drunk is correct?

I too have experienced this (annoying) quirk. It happens when you enter the stats screen right as the map screen pops up. If you clicked on any key while in the map screen too quick, UT thinks you clicked "return" in the previous screen... which is the stats screen. Unfortunately, the default selection when the stat screen is opened is the Damage Reduction section. I've done it twice now.

Solution: max out damage reduction first

I'd be willing to bet once the option to select the Damage Reduction stat is gone, another will be the new default.
