Hi all, I am new to the server end and administering one. I have been playing ut 2004 invasion on a few websites. I decided to rent a server from gameserver and of course they only install the default settings. I want to setup a druids rpg game and have searched for information on how to do this but what I found hasnt worked. Is there anyone who can either poin me in the right direction on how to do this or help me out. I want to have the 3 classes, am, wm and mm as well as xp andpossibly try to build an inventory system that players can use xp to buy items. I really didnt think this would be hard and never thought I would be posting for help. But when one is lost there is no reason to not to ask.

If you go to the http://www.disastrousconsequences.com/ home page and click on "Downloads", you can download the most recent release version of DruidsRPG, and it should have a readme with sufficient instructions regarding how to get it installed and running.
If this version does not suit your needs, realize that DC runs a beta version of DruidsRPG and no support is provided to those attempting to obtain and run the beta version on their own server.

i am also doing a server with the druid rpg200
i read the instructions but dont understand what is meant by the following so if someone could explain in a way a idiot could understand pls
* Migrating from base UT2004RPG data:
If you're upgrading from the base UT2004RPG to DruidsRPG, you must compare Mysterial's
ability/weapon/artifact lists to the ones included in DruidsRPG. Wherever a class from the
UT2004RPG is replaced, you must perform the search and replace in your data.
what am i looking for an where to find it an once found where do i put it etc

There is a file in the system folder called UT2004RPG.ini
This file contains the configuration for UT2004RPG, and lists what abilities, weapons etc people can buy, and stores what abilities they have already bought.
DruidsRPG is an extension of the original UT2004RPG, by Mysterial. So you first install UT2004RPG, then update it with the DruidsRPG.
Part of this upgrade process is to edit the UT2004RPG.ini file on your server. Some of the original abilities and weapons in UT2004RPG have been enhanced in DruidsRPG, so all references to the old ability/weapon in the UT2004RPG.ini must be replaced by references to the new DruidsRPG one.

DruidsRPG comes with the UT2004RPG.ini already setup. The migrating instructions are for if you were running a RPG server, and you are switching to the DruidsRPG and need to keep all of your player info.
If you do have existing player data, I would just announce that you are reseting everyones stats during the upgrade. Otherwise you will have some problems with players having abilities they shouldn't have.
